Can you describe your hair in 3 words?
"Curly, voluminous, playful"
What do you like most about your hair?
"I love that once I've washed and styled it, I don't have to do anything to it until my next washday, which is usually 7 days later!"
Can you tell us a little about your curl journey and how you learned to love your natural hair?
"I had relatively straight hair until I was 12. Then, puberty hit and within 6 months, my hair was curly. For the first 2 years, I had no idea what to do with it, but a girl at school told me to stop brushing it dry and only detangle in the shower. That was a game changer! I was 15 at the time and I've loved my hair ever since. Curly hair is now a huge part of my identity.
The second breakthrough came when I discovered styling creams that give definition and minimise frizz. The first time I saw it in action, I was mind-blown!"
How would you describe your experience with Boucles Project and Boho & Curl?

What are your favourite products & accessories from Boucles Project?
"Currently (because I'm sure I'm going to keep trying their products), my favourite products are the full CurlyEllie Intense line and the Ecoslay Orange Marmalade.
I'm also obsessed with the spray bottle! The best thing since sliced bread!"
Can you talk us through your current routine?
"First I use the CurlyEllie Intense Hydrating Shampoo and Indulgent Conditioner. I detangle my hair, rinse the conditioner out and then apply the Leave-In Conditioner & Styling Cream to soaking wet hair in the shower. Once I'm out of the shower, I make sure my hair is still fairly wet, do a final brush through with my head upside down (to ensure even product distribution), flip back up and apply the Ecoslay Orange Marmalade.
I then use a hairdryer with the Boucles Project Diffuser Attachment on my roots and the back of my head until it's no longer soaking wet and then let it air-dry."
What advice would you give to other curly heads out there?
- "Love your hair
- Find products that work for your hair - look for products that have oil-based ingredients
- Don't wash your hair every day"
